Eve Margol is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of LinkEducation Resources and is an educator with 16 years’ experience in the classroom and individualized instruction. Currently, Eve is a program Director and General Studies teacher at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. Eve was an integral part of the team that developed the curriculum for the new Gurim “junior kindergarten” program, now in its second year at CESJDS. Eve also spent 8 years as a teacher at the highly regarded Maddux School in Rockville, Maryland. With a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and a concentration in special education, training in the Phono- Graphix ® reading technique, Handwriting without Tears ® and Lindamood-Bell ® Learning Process, Eve’s guiding philosophy is to create a specialized learning environment that offers differentiated instruction designed to help students learn. In addition, Eve is the founder of Yoginos Unbound, a yoga program for children, including those with special needs.
Heidi Tacktill is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of LinkEducation Resources and is a learning specialist with over 10 years experience working with students, teachers, and families. Her Masters in mental health with an emphasis on school related achievement guides the social emotional aspect of her work, while her Education Specialist degree brings knowledge and strategy to strengthen and develop skills. Throughout her career thus far she has been trained in Orton Gillingham®, Lindamood-Bell® Learning Process, Framing Your Thoughts, Handwriting without Tears® and spoken at Harvard University regarding an Executive Function curriculum she helped design and implement for lower school students.
Alyson is an educator with fourteen years experience in the classroom, including 5 years as a first grade teacher at The Maddux School. She worked as a teacher in the multiple learning needs program at Ivymount School. She holds a Standard Professional I certification in Elementary Education 1 – 6 and Generic Special Education Infant to adult. Alyson earned a Master of Education degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tampa. Alyson is certified in the Orton-Gillingham method of teaching reading, writing and spelling and differentiating for her students how each learns best.
Erin Magee went to UMD, College Park and graduated with her bachelors in elementary education. She taught 5th grade in MCPS for two years before moving to the private school setting, where she has taught Science and Math to a variety of grades for the past three years. Erin is trained in multi sensory math techniques and enrichment strategies as well as the integration of executive function skills into every day practice. She is currently working on her Masters from UMD and will be graduating in May 2018.
