LAYING A FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS:

MULTI-SENSORY APPROACH TO PRE-READING, WRITING, SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL AND MATH SKILLS. In this training, participants will learn techniques to build a solid foundation for reading, writing, math, and social emotional skills. Through movement, kinesthetic, visual, and auditory activities, educators will be able to engage their students in phonemic awareness skills, letter and number formation and identification, sentence building, numeracy and place value skills.


MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE DEVELOPING CHILD:

ADDRESSING CHALLENGES IN PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS. In this training, participants will learn the top three developing skills making it hard to be ages 2-5. Research, strategies and skills will be taught to help with challenging behaviors in a group setting as well as troubleshoot for students who may be struggling more than others. Educators will walk away with strategies and tools to take into their groups the next day.


MOVEMENT MATTERS:

EVERYDAY TECHNIQUES FOR INCORPORATING MOVEMENT INTO THE CLASSROOM. Ideal for preschool through middle school educators, participants will learn strategies for incorporating movement into each area of their day using multi-sensory curriculum, mindfulness, and yoga approaches.


MEETING THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS IN AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. Participants will gain perspective of students coming to their after school activities, including those with learning differences and behavioral challenges. Strategies will be shared and practiced.
